Erica has over ten years of experience in catering and hospitality, along with a background as a school counselor and teacher. After working as a private chef for dinner parties and small weddings, she transitioned into full-time catering and wedding planning, driven by her love for feeding others and helping couples create their dream weddings. Erica is also a certified wedding planner and designer. Phillip has a diverse background, from Sports Medicine to serving as President and COO of multiple companies, always rooted in a passion for service. He’s mastered grilling and BBQ through hands-on experience with top BBQ experts and continues to refine his craft. Phillip is also an ordained officiant.
A local from East Texas and recent Texas A&M graduate with a Bachelor in Hospitality and Event Planning, brings a high level of expertise and professionalism to every wedding she coordinates. With a deep understanding of the intricacies of event management, she is dedicated to crafting seamless, unforgettable celebrations. Her warm, loving, and fun personality helps put couples at ease, while her meticulous attention to detail ensures every aspect of the day is executed flawlessly. Whether it’s designing timelines, coordinating vendors, or managing last-minute changes, she thrives in creating an experience that exceeds expectations. Originally from South Carolina, Justin moved to Tyler at the age of four and has proudly called it home ever since. With a background as a land surveyor, he made a bold and inspiring decision to pursue his passion for the culinary arts. This career change allowed him to channel his creativity and dedication into the food industry, where he quickly became known for his talent and commitment to excellence. He brings a unique combination of intelligence, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail to his role as Sous Chef. His ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly ensures every dish meets the highest standards. Whether mentoring others or contributing fresh ideas to the menu, Justin is integral to the unforgettable experiences Briar Rose is known for. Outside of the kitchen, Justin cherishes time with his husband, two kids, and granddaughter.
